Rising the ranks on the R&B ladder, Leo\u2019s career in entertainment began as a professional dancer, where he performed with contemporary industry heavyweights, Da Baby and Coi Leray. Recognising his flair for song writing and forte for the mic, Waters linked up with legendary Chicago executive producer, Donn Robb. And after a summer of working together on several projects, Waters officially received the formal co-sign, as the first artist signed to Robb\u2019s new label, The Groove Garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leo Waters explains, \u201cI wrote this song to tell the story of a past relationship I had where I was reminiscing on the early start. I was speaking about how by the end of the relationship it was unclear to me if it was purely physical or something more.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And delving deeper into his inspirations, Waters says \u201cI get a lot of my influences from many early Motown and R+B. I also love pop music like Kid Laroi. I get a lot of my education from my creative partner Donn Robb who has been helping me shape my sound. I think this song is the beginning of me establishing myself in the industry as a real artist. I am involved in writing and producing my whole project. I like to be part of the full picture.
